My Modbus TCP connection works. I can write for example register 22 which sits on the Unit-ID 246 (com.victronenergy.vebus). I an also read registers. So my modbus connection works . But I cannot write register 2700 which sits on the Unit-ID 100 (com.victronenergy.settings).

According to the manual, the meter will communicate with the cerbo via Modbus UTP/IP over the ethernet cable. Yuo will be able to detect the ip address in the cerbo settings, and then use wireshark or similar to snoop on the udp data transfer to that address - you will be able to use wireshark to decode the modbus requests.

This data is live. No time stamp needed for live data. If you''re not close enough to to receive the data, it doesn''t populate. It''s pretty easy to look at the data and see the numbers changing to see that it''s live so I''m not certain why a time stamp would be needed.
